We are excited to release Survivalcalc v1.0.2! This update focuses on one of the most crucial parts of the user experience: getting the software on your machine and keeping it up-to-date, effortlessly. We've completely overhauled the installer to make it smarter, more reliable, and more user-friendly.
🔧 Key Improvement: A Smarter Installer & Update Experience
This release's main focus is to provide a seamless installation and update process.
- ✨ Intelligent Update Detection: The new installer now automatically detects if you have an older version of Survivalcalc already installed. If an update is available, it will transform into an update wizard, guiding you through the process instead of just performing a fresh installation.
- 🌐 Dynamic Configuration: The installer no longer relies on hardcoded information. It fetches the latest version number, download links, and changelog directly from our server on startup. This ensures you always get the most up-to-date installer without having to re-download it, making the whole process more robust and future-proof.
- 🔒 Increased Reliability: We've improved the error handling from the ground up. The installer now verifies server connection before starting and provides clear feedback if something goes wrong, preventing failed installations midway through the process.
- 📂 Improved Registry Integration: The application now registers itself more thoroughly with Windows. This not only allows for a more accurate update detection but also paves the way for a cleaner uninstallation in the future, leaving no stray files behind.

🔧 Installation
1.You can find the latest version of Survivalcalc_Installer.exe on our official website. Alternatively, you can download the file directly using the link below.
2. Run the installer and follow the simple on-screen instructions.
3. The installer will guide you through either a fresh installation or an update.🔄 Updating from an older version
The new installer handles updates automatically. Simply download and run the latest
Survivalcalc_Installer.exe. It will detect your existing version and offer to update it for you.🗑️ Uninstallation
Uninstalling is now as clean as installing. Simply use the uninstaller that comes with it, or the "Apps & features" option in Windows Settings. The improved registry integration ensures a more thorough removal of the application.
